About Us

DARKBARK was born from a fire-forged pain that Nikita, the Metal Frenchie, and her Dad, a burnt-out graphic designer, endured when they realized there was a need for an authentic lifestyle brand for metalheads and their metaldogs. They set out to make high-quality apparel and accessories with designs that they would want to see out in the world and wear themselves.

Nikita's Dad has been a designer since 2006 and creates all the art, music, and videos for DARKBARK under Nikita's creative direction. A perfect collaboration since they always make time for breaks, treats, and naps together.

We hope that DARKBARK resonates with everyone who loves metal, dogs, and a devilishly dark aesthetic.
